However his real legacy from a historical viewpoint, the way in which he impacted both the problems and the solutions of government, was Theft, Waste, War and Lies.

No Justice, No Peace

I hear the Civil Rights protest chant in support of the Jena 6: "No Justice, No Peace!"

But hey, isn't that the slogan of the Bush Administration?

Papal pontificating

So the Pope says that people who don't have children are selfish.

The comment about papal interference in family matters used to be "He no play-a da game, he no make-a da rules."

But in this case he may know whereof he speaks.

And is he saying Jesus was selfish?

Or does he have secret information about Jesus from hidden archives in the Vatican's basement?

Is sainthood now going to be dependent on a certain minimum number of offspring?

Perhaps he is acknowledging that the Protestants, Jews and Muslims have been right all along, and the Catholics wrong:

Perhaps he is preparing to decree that all priests must get married.
